On a site combining three smaller residential lots, this economical infill project shares parking and access with a restaurant neighbor to the benefit of both parties. Time of use modeling allowed parking to be shared thus maximizing the building footprint to allow a 4,242 SF worship building and a 2,427 SF classroom building.
The worship building has a 300-seat sanctuary and faces three classrooms across a central court. Four steel columns shaped to symbolize the tree of life tie the sanctuary and classroom buildings together. Both buildings are wood framed with stucco and cast stone exterior wall finishes as well as concrete tile roofs. |
